If you have excessively dry skin or mild eczema, then shop for lotion for relief. In addition, make sure you are using soap that does not contain perfumes or additives. Also, while it might seem counterintuitive, avoid washing with soap too often since that contributes to the drying of skin.
If you watch dishes by hand, keep a bottle of hand lotion by the sink. Dish soap is stronger than hand soap and contributes to dry skin. You may also want to wear dish gloves while you clean.
Lotion comes at many different price points. A bottle of Vaseline skincare hand lotion retails for approximately 5 dollars. However, if you shop at a high end boutique or Internet retail outlet you can pay as much as 50 dollars for a bottle of lotion.
